Standard sawhorses hold materials up, but you still have to search for bar clamps to secure your workpieces before cutting, routing, or planing. The Worx WX065 Clamping Sawhorse pair integrates a heavy-duty detachable bar clamp directly into each horse, creating a mobile workholding station that sets up in seconds.

Each sawhorse supports 500 lbs individually (1,000 lbs paired) while weighing only 8 lbs. The integrated bar clamps can be installed vertically into the top crossbar track or positioned horizontally, generating up to 300 lbs of holding force and clamping materials up to 18 inches wide.

Shop Testing & Structural Rigidity

We used these sawhorses across several shop projects, including breaking down 4x8 plywood sheets with a track saw and clamping 2x10 cedar timbers for edge jointing:
- Indented top channels securely cradle 2x4 lumber to create a sacrificial workbench grid.
- Lower built-in storage shelf holds cordless drills, tape measures, and fasteners off the shop floor.
- Folds flat to just 2.5 inches thick with integrated cord wrap and handle for effortless truck bed storage.

Mechanical Observations & Flaws:
- The clamp mechanism uses composite plastic jaws; while strong enough for 300 lbs of holding force, they will flex slightly under extreme leverage compared to cast iron bar clamps.
- On smooth sealed shop floors, the plastic feet benefit from non-slip rubber pads to prevent walking under heavy hand-planing forces.
