Mobile workbench & router station
A movable bench concept with room for assembly, storage, and a future router setup. The layout will take shape around the work it needs to do.
What the project should do
- Provide a stable assembly surface that can move when the shop layout changes.
- Keep clamps, measuring tools, and frequently used accessories close to the work.
- Explore whether a router station belongs in this bench or on a separate stand.
Decisions ahead
- Choose the working height, footprint, and a practical way to lock the bench in place.
- Decide between a replaceable top and a more permanent work surface.
- Lay out storage and dust collection before cutting the cabinet parts.
